ABOUT

Tuesday Thomson and her millinery journey began, quite simply, with a hat—but not in the way one might expect. What emerged from a deeply personal chapter—during much skin cancer treatment and later reconstruction—was not only a practical solution, but the beginning of an enduring and unexpected devotion to headwear. From that moment, necessity gave way to artistry, and a quiet spark evolved into something far more luminous.

Drawing on a background in theatre and an instinct for the poetic, Tuesday approaches millinery as both craft and expression. Each piece is thoughtfully composed to evoke emotion, frame the wearer, and transform the everyday into something extraordinary. There is elegance here, certainly—but always with a subtle sense of play. A knowing wink beneath the brim.

What began as a singular gesture—a hat making gift—has grown into a considered practice rooted in craftsmanship, intention, and care. Every creation is designed not only to adorn, uplift, and instil a quiet confidence in the wearer.

Now continuing to refine her craft at Morley College Chelsea, and mentored by master Milliner Sarah Lomax, Tuesday remains, at heart, someone who finds joy in unexpected places. It's a feeling she hopes you'll discover too—each time you wear one of her pieces and wear it boldly.

In 2026, Tuesday's sculptural piece 'Silent Testimony' -an ecclesiastical form, a reworking of ritual headwear was shortlisted for the Feltmakers Design Competition — a recognition of the vision and craft at the heart of everything she creates.
